The Role:
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Business Services Manager or Senior Manager to join a collaborative and high-performing team.
In this role, you'll manage a diverse portfolio of clients, acting as a trusted advisor while mentoring and developing junior team members. Working closely with Partners, you'll provide strategic business and taxation advice, identify growth opportunities for clients, and play an integral role in the continued success of the practice.
This role is based out of their Geelong office.
Duties:
- Manage a portfolio of business services clients, delivering high-quality accounting and advisory services.
- Build and strengthen long-term client relationships while identifying opportunities to grow the client base.
- Lead client meetings, presentations and technical discussions.
- Mentor, coach and review the work of junior team members.
- Manage workflow, WIP, budgets and team performance.
- Review complex compliance work, identify technical issues and implement tax planning strategies.
- Contribute to technical training and knowledge sharing across the team.
You'll be an experienced Business Services Manager who enjoys building relationships, mentoring others and delivering commercially focused advice.
You'll also bring:
- CA or CPA qualification (or overseas equivalent).
- 6+ years' exp within an Australian public practice accounting firm.
- Proven experience managing client relationships and leading teams.
- Strong technical knowledge of Australian taxation legislation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive, collaborative and solutions-focused approach.
